Mummy & Corey Day Out #1

Helloo,

Today Corey and I had a fun day out, so I thought I would share a bit of what we got up too :)

Russell Park Bedford Embankment River Family Day Out

We started the day off at our local park, I haven't taken Corey there since it had a renovation and it was fantastic, but I wasn't expecting sand (we wore sandals, argh)! After a couple of hours we walked our way into town for a lunch date. Went to Yates, which is such a bargain as was like £7 ish for both our meals and a drink each plus the food is always so yummy! He had a sad face as he didn't want pictures taken, grumpy pants. We headed to the shops and I was desperate for the loo, so headed to Beales, why are their toilets right in the middle of the toy section? We couldn't leave until we brought a toy, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. We wanted to head home but Corey was far too tired at this point, so we headed to The Kiln, which you paint pottery we chose a racing car of course. It looks a bit funny now, but has to be oven cooked and glossed so will actually be red and grey next week. Follow me on Instagram here to see the final look, and got my fingers crossed it turns out okay! Almost 7 hours later and we are finally home :)

We got so many comments on his Tom & Jerry top we got from Next which you can see in my latest haul here.

I admit I don't have much money so days like these are very few, but sometimes you just have too! Usually when we go out, it's with my family as we all love spending time together. Last week wasn't the greatest plus I spent it poorly so didn't actually leave the house for like 5 days! But it was so nice to have a day just us two, bonding and we had a really good day :) A very happy (tired) mummy and Corey!!

How do you spend your days having fun? Would love some ideas, preferably on the cheaper side.

Disney #1 - Favourite Movies

Helloo,

I have decided to do a series of Disney posts :) As we are a Disney obsessed family I of course will be adding Corey's favourites as well as my own - hope you enjoy something a bit different! Be sure to follow here on bloglovin to keep up to date, usually posts will be every Saturday (I am a day late this week - whoopsie!)

Here is the list of movies we enjoy the most:

Disney Film Movies Favouties Mummy Baby Toddler Reviews

As you can see this week I have gone for Favourite Disney Films. It was soo hard to choose from, I really struggled but these are some we watch on a regular basis :) Parent Trap is an old one, but one I used to and still am in love with. I prefer Monsters Inc because of my obsession with Boo whereas Corey prefers Monsters University I think because of the crazy pig! Another favourite of mine at the moment that isn't mentioned is Saving Mr Banks a film about Walt Disney and the creation of Mary Poppins, a film for adults and it is brilliant! We have watched all of the Toy Story movies over and over as this is Corey's ultimate favourite. He also has a thing for Ariel from The Little Mermaid which I missed off the above list! I am really enjoying all the new princesses that are coming out, I am obsessed with Tangled and also think that Brave is so good - both different to the traditional :)

Come back next week for a wishlist of bits we would want from Disney Store :) I would love to know what is your ultimate favourite film?!

Love, Gemma xo

Step By Step Process:

Step 1 Cleanse - fresh locks shampoo, splashy wash, spritz and wipe

Step 2 Moisturise - huggy lotion, cheeky cream, spritz and wipe

Step 3 Massage - baba oil

Thoughts/Review:

Everything I can say about these products are all positive :) As you can see Corey really enjoyed testing out the bits in the bath. Very happy 3.5 year old! We really had a chance to put these to the test too as Corey was soo grubby from Pre-School, he looked so squeaky clean after. They are so gentle and smooth from first touch right through to on the skin. A little goes along way. The splashy wash and fresh locks smell gorgeous, but I wasn't keen on the rest of them for smell. Each product is made of as many natural products as can be, but of course to make it safe it does have some synthetic ingredients. The website is absolutely brilliant on describing all about this and completely reassured myself and I am sure many other parents in their products. On the Skint Dad Blog you can see a real difference the miamoo products made for dry sensitive skin on his daughter Chloe in just a matter of days, frankly I was amazed. I will be sure to carry on using these products and not a bad price either (listed above!) - a little more than store brought but for more natural and gentle products I am willing to pay the price.

Special Offer:

miamoo have offered readers a special 10% off at their website www.miamoo.co.uk off all full priced products, using the code Blog13 at checkout.

So there you have it, my review on the miamoo products :) Be sure to check out their Facebook and Twitter. Which product intrigues you the most out of this set? Let me know what you decide to pick up from their online shop!

#BritMumsLive - What I Learnt & Blog Changes!

Helloo,

If you read my blog reguarly (if you do then thanks!), you would see in my last post that I visited #BritMumsLive a 2 day blogger's conference - you can read about my first ever experience by clicking here. This post is about What I Learnt over the weekend through workshops and speakers. But also because of this there is going to be some changes round here on my blog so keep reading to find out what :)

I have decided not to go into such detail on each session I attended because in the end in all honestly they had the same summary, which is the reasoning for this blog post because I have learnt an incredible amount and I feel much more positive and changed my views of my blog.

"Power of the blog, is that it is you" - Melinda, @HerMelness

I admit I am not the best blogger out there, far from it actually. I am also a very amateur writer and photographer. There is always room for improvements for my writing and photography skills. A bit of a social media addict. I learnt that you can't do everything though, this takes me back to a conversation I had with Becky Bedbug a few weeks ago during a #lbloggers chat. It was about Social Media and how you can't always keep on top of them all, Facebook isn't very helpful for my blog and I struggle to keep posting. Becky assured me that frankly you can't do everything (if you don't want too), there are so many platforms of Social Media these days. I have decided to concentrate on Twitter, Instagram and BlogLovin - ones I am good at and concentrating on a few means I can take the time to make the most out of them and perfect them. One of the speakers said if any new Social Media platforms come out then she refuses to sign up as there are just too many now!

Work with what you have and improve on areas you want too!

When I first started this blog back in September of last year, I had no idea what I was doing and it was a diary so I had a place of my own to be myself. Over the time, my blog and I have grown which is absolutely fantastic. But I often lose sight of why I originally started, I get consumed in my own worries of not being good enough, comparing myself and the dreaded stats. Losing the fun of blogging! Sometimes I just need to take a break, step back and look at what I am doing.

Find your voice and stick to it!

This blogging conference, I finally got so much inspiration and a head full of ideas now. I generally blog a mixture of parenting, beauty and lifestyle - I don't like being tied down to one thing because I would feel restricted and probably never end up posting. I am now also going to be posting random ramblings, maybe a diary or maybe both whether it be I have a bad day or just a catch up on my life.

I now know where I want my blog to go, how to do it (sort of!) and will being putting a plan of action together. Whether it be doing adsense, improving my SEO etc. This blog is more than a hobby to me now and I want to take it to the next level if I can with lots of hard work and dedication :)

Everyone should check out this amazing post written by Lucy from SuperGolden Bakes about her Top 10 Blogging Tips by clicking here. A summary of what we all learnt to help improve ourselves and our blogs!

Make the most of what you can do!

Some people left the event wanting to change their whole blog completely, stop blogging, just have a re-vamp etc. I may change my blog name again eventually, mine seems too long but it is so sweet and others including brands always comment on it so a hard choice. I have changed the info provided on my blog and some layout bits will change soon too. But for now I am happy with how my blog is at the moment, content wise but I will stop comparing myself, stop worrying about what others think and enjoy my blogging journey completely!

So what do you think? Are you inspired or are you sticking with what you do now? :)

#BritMumsLive 2014 :)

Hellooo,

I have spent 2 days at the blogging conference of the year - #BritMumsLive 2014 run by blogging community known by the ever so well known and popular Brit Mums :) I think this was their 5th event!

Blog feels all official with having a badge now! Here is a little inside about the event, my thoughts (the good and bad) as well as what I got up too:

Pre Event Nerves

If you hadn't already seen my post from last week about all my worries or nerves then you can view it here. But honestly I was so nervous, panicking uncontrollable about what to wear, what to bring and what was needed. I shouldn't of worried really, I went for comfort clothes and this was a wise move although I still somehow ended up with 4 blisters on my toes.

I had no need to worry though, it wasn't as scary as I thought but I met up with Andrea before hand just like many others did with their friends too - helps to share the nerves with someone else!

Venue

#BritMumsLive was held at the The Brewery in London, which was an absolutely beautiful venue, complete luxury - it was spectacular. The kind of place you could only dream of for a wedding and you know it is pricey when they don't have prices on their site.

Brands

This is what the business cards were for, there was a room full of brands with stands, showing what they had to offer and a chance to talk to bloggers about the possibility of working with them. I honestly thought there would be more though and so did a fair few other bloggers I spoke too but there was a variety of amazing brands :) Some of my very favourites were: Morrisons, Butlins, Munchkin, Parragon, Spatone, Coca Cola, Highland Spring and last but not least Aveeno (in no particular order).

Speakers & Workshops

On Friday, they had a key note speaker called Emma Freud who apparently works for Comic Relief, the one who persuades the celebs to do the crazy things for charity (climbing up mountain sorts of things) and she made the idea of texting donations. Sounds like a brilliant women and she was absolutely hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing and loved every second of her speech. A real "can do" women and very inspirational! Plus she had some beautiful tiaras, and it was essential for everyone to wear one whilst she talked (no idea on the reasoning for this!) - an idea I loved non the less :)

There were a few workshops I attended with some incredible speakers, I made a fair few notes. I won't talk too much about this as I am going to do another post on what I learnt, so be sure to keep an eye out for that too. However, I will say I was very let down by the SEO talk because I had expected it to be tips and how to's on how to do it but it was just a chat explaining what it is. This had been the main workshop I was excited for and I didn't learn anything new. So gutted! Am I the only one?

Bibs Awards

First of all congratulations to all those who were nominated, finalists and of course the winners :) Some really well deserved winners especially Team Honk. Who sadly I hadn't heard of until this event, but they do great things for charity and involved an elephant. I will be keeping my eye out for them in the future! It was a good evening and nice to celebrate everyone's success. It was presented by non other than Katy Hill who if you didn't know used to be on Blue Peter now turned mummy and blogger. She was so funny and it made the evening that much better. Katy also won 'Fresh Voice' (newbie award) for her blog!

Meeting Bloggers

My favourite bit, I met SO many lovely blogger's. Sharing this interest/hobby - literally 100's of people, it was amazing! Everyone was just as lovely as I imagined. I struggled to put names to faces from my twitter feeds and couldn't always see the badges so I do apologise if I didn't manage to say hello to everyone!

Just to name a few of the lovely friends I spent my days with:

- Andrea & Baby Archie // Blogger Mumma
- Lucinda // Teacher 2 Mummy
- Vicki // Ellie Bear Babi
- Donna // The London Mum
- Rebecca // Mrs Mumsie
- Kelly // Tias Mum 12
- Kate // Family Fever
- Harriet // Toby & Roo
- Kelly // To Become Mum

Goody Bags

I didn't bring a big enough suitcase to fit the goody bags in after, like I was told too and I could kick myself for not doing it. I really suffered on the way home with the tubes and trains with a suitcase, 2 heavy goody bags and a hand bag - I can barely move my shoulders. I won't be making the same mistake next year, that is for sure!

Top Tips For Next Year

- Don't be too frightened beforehand
- Meet up with someone else or a group
- Comfort, always go for comfort in your clothes & shoes
- If you want a sponsor, get in early
- Stay over night
- Bring a BIG suitcase for goody bags on way back home
- You only need around 50 business cards
- Don't be afraid to say hello to someone, you will regret it if you don't
- Take pictures, plenty of pictures!

Overall

In the week coming up to #BritMumsLive I honestly almost couldn't come but my mum and grandparents saved the day and so glad they did as I had such a fantastic time, nerves aside it was such a fantastic opportunity and experience. Made friends, learnt some tips, met some brands and just had fun :)

I have a massive let down though - boo! This is focused on food, as frankly there was only something served on Saturday lunch time which just wasn't my cup of tea as it was posh food. I was poorly and it was a tiring event, so food was essential to keep awake and for energy. Also, there was literally only tea, coffee, water or wine (all free) but not the option to buy others. I needed some fizz! I ended up in the Morrison's Lounge for some great snack bites and big kudos to them as was excellent! :)

So there you have it, my post on #BritMumsLive, can't wait to read everyone else's :) Hope you managed to read to the end and be sure to look our for my next post on what I learnt. For those who didn't manage to come this year, I highly recommend you do next year & will hopefully see you there - tickets are already on sale at early bird price, I will be getting mine soon!

Haulin'

Hello,

Argh feels like I haven't posted in ages even though it was only Friday, but here I am here sharing my most recent buys from various stores all courtesy from bank of mummy :)

Primark

Let's just take a moment to appreciate the amaziness of the Slush Puppie Tote Bag, one of those impluse buys at the till but how could I refuse? The other half and I have a slight addiction to them, yet they are so hard to come by and remind me of my childhood. For a £1 who could complain? Next is the tops for Corey, I am such a fan of Primark for him because they are cheap but such good quality, better than you would think so I highly suggest you give them a try if you haven't already. Corey didn't need any more underwear, he has like 100 I swear but when we saw these Jake The Pirate Briefs we had to get some as it's Corey's favourite at the moment! I picked up some tweezers as they are a good price and I needed some more, went for the colourful ones as they remind me a bit of the Models Own ones you can get. All this for £14.50 - impressed :)

Next

Next is my absolute favourite for home accessories and children bits, they are amazing. Mum needed a wedding present for someone she worked with so I suggested getting a cute photo frame from Next, which she did. We saw this Tom & Jerry T-Shirt and immediately got it despite the high price tag of £10 but it is so cute, they are a favourite in our house. I had searched high and low in town for a minty necklace and came across this lovely long Mint Necklace for £8, a beauty and shall be wearing over the weekend at a blogger's event. Finally, at the till this Stamp & Ink Set catched our eye at the tills, for only £6 - I thought it was adorable and will get plenty of use.

Fiorelli

The bag I am currently using I picked up in River Island over 3 years ago now, it started to fall apart so I needed something new. Mum said she would get me something as an early birthday present (1 month & 1 day to go) Now of course Michael Kors would be lovely but the price tag is just not worth it for myself. I have been following Fiorelli on Twitter for a long time now and have loved their bags, especially when mum got a gorgeous purse at Christmas off her aunt. I secretly wish I had it! I couldn't decide on a bag though, so after taking to Twitter for advice, which was so helpful but in the end I settled for this Agyness Canvas Tote Bag which is beautiful and I got 20% off (RRP £65) from Dorothy Perkins. It isn't as big as I thought it would be, which is good because I was expecting something too big. But it is bigger than the average size! I now have a list of other bags I want too. All sooo pretty :)

Body Shop

I haven't brought from Body Shop in absolute years, I used to be a big big fan of their body butters especially the Mango, it smelt delicious! But I was having trouble finding a suitable Bronzer, I tried Benefit Hoola, George by Asda Bronzer and Sleek Bronzer which were all too dark. Then I saw so many reviews on this Honey Bronzer which looked right up my street as there are different shades to suit all skin tones. Because at the time they had a fantastic deal of 40% off all full priced items, I picked up the Tea Tree Pore Minimiser and frankly kicking myself up the bum for not buying anything else at such a bargain price. These two only cost me £12.30 - shocking right?! The bronzer along is usually £13 but I will be back for more in the future :) I won't go into too much detail on the products themselves as I plan to do a review post as well.

What did you like the most out of my haul (thoughts and opinions welcome)? What have you brought recently? :)

Stretch Mark Solutions

Hello,

Today I am talking about something close to my heart, the pain of stretch marks and some solutions that may help - natural home remedies and store products :)

Stretch Marks

I debated whether to get into real technical terms here but I decided to keep is basic as let's face it, unless you are in a profession that needs to know! Basically they are visible looking scars/lines/marks, concentrated on your stomach but can be also be found on thighs, upper arms, bum and boobs.

There are many factors that could be cause of stretch marks, some but not limited to these are -

1. Pregnancy
2. Sudden Weight Gain or Loss
3. Stress
4. Rapid Growth
5. Hereditary
6. Stress
7. Certain Health Conditions

Stretch marks can leave many people (ladies or men!) feeling very uncomfortable and concious, which isn't a nice feeling. Luckily there are many ways to treat stretch marks, hence why I am sharing some of these with you :)

Don't just think stretch marks are for us larger or pregnant ladies, body builders get them from stretching the skin beyond what is normal for it and I have seen on skinner people, their backs can have them from the skin trying to shrink to the body size. Strange ey?

My stretch marks are in all places known to man kind, literally so irritating but I have had them since I was about 14 due to my weight mainly when I would gain/lose weight dramatically, pregnancy didn't help either. I have 1001+ on my stomach which are very faded but noticeable. Those elsewhere like on my arms are very pink/purple and noticeable. I have found a few good remedies that suit my body as well as loosing weight of course helps massively.

Home Remedies

1. Lemon Juice

When I was younger my nan taught me soaking my nails in Lemon Juice would make them whiter, it was a trick that worked. But actually because it is full of acid, it will help heal and reduce stretch marks as well as acne and other scars.

- Apply the Lemon Juice in circular motions over affected areas.
- Leave to soak into skin for around 10 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

I have heard that you could mix cucumber juice with this for extra effect, but whether that is true or not I am unsure.

2. Olive Oil

Another trick from my childhood, Olive Oil can be used to get rid of dirt from the ears if you get a lot of build up. I used to suffer with many ear infections including a burst ear drum once!
Olive Oil has nutrients and antioxidants which are great for helping improve various skin problems. If you mix with vinegar and water it makes a night cream that will moisturise and exfoliate your skin - very interesting & I shall be sure to try it.

- Massage slightly warm into affected area.
- Leave for half and hour or so for it to fully absorb and leave over night

3. Water

This shouldn't really come as a shock to any of us as Water hydrates the body and helps with so many things including pores, stretch marks and much more. It is suggested to have 10 glasses per a day for best results, or 2 litres. However, for someone like myself who doesn't drink water I do notice the difference even if I drink 2 small bottles a day. I suggest starting off with smaller amounts and working your daily amount up naturally, this will also help to actually stick to it.

4. Aloe Vera

Good old fashioned Aloe Vera with is becoming even more popular these days. If I get sunburnt, I always find an After Sun Lotion/Gel with Aloe Vera which soothes and cools the pain for the most fast effective healing.

- Directly rub Aleo Vera Gel onto affected area
- Leave for a few minutes and rinse with warm water

Store Products

1. Bio Oil

Known for helping with many scars whatever they may be, the most popular being stretch marks. The result rate is so unbelievably high. I have tried this before but for myself I do not like oil based as I am so oily as it is, do not need any help in that department.

2. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion

This is a cream based for stretch marks and has a pregnant lady on the front. It is my absolute favourite! Using twice daily, within a week I notice amazing differences. Used throughout pregnancy and you will hopefully be stretch mark free. It isn't an oily cream and dries really quickly once massaged into the affected areas.

They also have two other varieties - tummy butter or massage cream.

3. Remescar Silicone Stretch Marks Scar Cream

This brand seems to be new on the block and frankly I am intrigued. As the name states it is a silicone cream, which is different to most. But I think it is quite like Bio Oil in many respects. If you have tried this, I would love to know your thoughts as think I will pick up a pot but it is pricey at £24.99!

There are so many others in Boots too but I didn't want to mention too many, so be sure to check them out.

Clinical Treatments

I wasn't going to talk about these, but some may want to know that there is also these possibilities. Personally I wouldn't as for me money wise it seems a waste, because stretch marks do fade over time with perseverance. Neither are provided by the NHS so will cost a fair amount!

1. Laser Therapy

There are several various types of Laser Therapy available for treatment. Pulsed dye laser treatment is one of these which is painless and usually for the early stages of stretch marks when they are pinky.

2. Cosmetics Surgery

This just seems really drastic and from what I can find the only possible Cosmetic Surgery avaliable would be a Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) which gets rid of excess skin and fat from your stomach.

So what do you use to treat your stretch marks? Any secrets you have to share please do :)

Barry M Matte Summer Collection

Hello,

So I am a lover of all things matte, especially loved the original Barry M matte collection which came out last year with more neutral colours. So I was just unbelievably excited when I saw the pretty summer colours, I picked them all up of course and had to share.

Just look at those pretty colours, I can't even describe how much I am in love with these colours. The 3 dark ones on the left are just one coat and the 3 on the left are two coats, they are a great formula and an improvement from the last collection. Don't know which one is my favourite, really loving the blue Malibu which is coincidently my favourite summer drink ;) For only £3.99 how can you refuse, especially when Boots or Superdrug have 3 for 2. Go pick them up & let me know if you do!

Which shade is your favourite? :)

Week 4 - Baby Comfort

Week 5 - Electrical

Week 6 - Teething

This weeks topic is Feeding/Weaning (Food Processers, Plates, Bowls etc)

The last two weeks before this have been all about Tommee Tippee love and this week is no different.

They have all sorts of great bits and pieces for all your needs from heat sensitive spoons, these amazing place spoons (wish they had these when Corey was younger!!) and plates. Electric food blender and even storage pots for left over bits. I don't really want to talk too much about weaning bits and bobs, as frankly I did it so long ago I can barely remember. But Tommee Tippee are good price and excellent quality, it couldn't get much better for me!

Annabel Karmel is known for all her recipes, and finally she brought some books out. Weaning one looks fab, can't wait to try this when I decide to have another baby. I will be looking into ordering this family one though now Corey is a bit older, we do need family recipes - healthy and delicious!

Please let me know if you have any weaning posts, as would love them read them :) Come back next week for the very final week, week 7 all about Toys (0-6 Months, Playmats, Bouncers etc)

#BirtMumsLive - Panic Time

Hello,

So Brit Mums Live is soon approaching, 11 days in fact. Yes you read that right, it is fast approaching! For those who aren't aware this is a two day blog event for parent bloggers, comprising of the BiB's award ceremony, workshops, key note speakers and brand opportunities etc. As well as of course meeting all the wonderful fellow bloggers who will be attending. This will be my very first time attending. I am lucky because I will be travelling and staying overnight with my lovely friend Andrea from Blogger Mumma. I am fully aware of how fun this event is going to be, and I am so excited. Not done anything of the sort before so along with the excitement comes anxiety, nerves and plenty of butterflies.

Outfit Choices

Domestic Goddesque has a linky on her blog here where some of those going have shared what they are going to wear. It's hard to choose, Friday is more formal than Saturday. So Saturday for me is all sorted - jeans, smart navy waterfall cardigan and flats. Comfy! I do have a back up as for Saturday too encase it is hot weather.

It's the Friday I am stuck for, the day for meeting brands, possible chance of opportunity (first impressions are everything!) and the awards. I am not a dress person though so that is not an option. Is jeans too casual though? what does one wear with jeans to dress them up? It wouldn't be a problem but money is. I have the cutest mint coloured cardigan I picked up in Tesco, which I am so excited to wear. It would go well with a black cami - only £12.99 in New Look so hoping to pick one up. But I need accessories.

This is just me wishing away as not possible money wise. Primark would be a good place to look if I could as they are great for their accessories, always a bargain with their prices too. Both my shoes and bag need replacing. So sad to see my trusty 3 year old River Island bag go but I honestly don't think it will last through Brit Mums with the travel etc. I have found these bits from New Look which would be great:

I have the issue of my size, and body shape - it isn't nice and I am worrying to what people who I speak to daily but never met, will they judge? I doubt it, but it still would be nice to feel and look confident within your own body. Which I do not. I don't want to be the slummy one who looks like they couldn't be bothered to make an effort despite actually spending ages planning and preparing. So I ask the old question of what are you wearing to Brit Mums? Help me with some inspiration!

Business Cards

So I have ordered some business cards, which should be with me sometime this week thankfully. But oh my were they expensive. Why are they so expensive?! I got the cheapest deal I could get on moo.com, searched high and low for the best discount code but for 100 with delivery was roughly £26 and frankly is even 100 enough? I don't think so. But they will be pretty :) I want to try get some more but time is running out. What do you think?

Worries

We all talk over the internet through our computer screens - some on a daily basis and made some wonderful friends. But it doesn't stop it from crossing my mind that what if people don't like me in person? Am I going to be too shy? Will I recognise someone or get the wrong person by mistake?

I have like 1000 other worries that I can't even think of right now that have been crossing my mind from the past couple of days, I don't know what to expect or what it is going to be like and that scares me. When I think of the amount of people that are going to be there too, blimey!

Mainly, I just don't feel prepared or organised which is really annoying as that is the total opposite of me - frustration at it's highest point right now!

Although in life I do like to believe I am a friendly easy to get along with person, however, I am shy at first and find it hard to approach those I do not know. Hoping I can break these fears at the event. Are you going? If you are let me know in the comments and I will keep an eye out for you & if you do see me, be sure to say hi :) Any tips on how to ease the nerves?

Love, Gemma xo

Fragrance Favourites

Hello,

Today we are talking about my collection of perfumes as a day wouldn't go by without me wearing one :) Something I thought I would share and hopefully find out what some of your favourites are, if you let me know in the comments box.

For years I would only ever wear the same perfume, someone would buy me it every Birthday/Christmas because I was just in love. This was the J-Lo Live, oh it was gorgeous but of course after years of it, it had to come to an end. Which is truly horrific and I still can't get over it.

I love fruity smelly, summery and just like pretty smells - I know that isn't clear but for any fragrance fanatics you will know what I mean. When my one love had become to had to find, I went on a search for more around a year ago now and these are the beauties I have come across:

First off there was Vera Wang Lovestruck and also Vera Wang Princess (not pictured), both beautiful perfumes bottle wise and smell wise. Then came Versace Red Jeans which is so cheap and my handbag perfume, a bit more of an elegant smell than the others and they do his and hers, so Versace Blue Jeans for men which is yummy! Next I got Marc Jacobs Daisy which is of course summery, I love the classic look of the bottle with the added touch of big neon flowers and smells divine. Lastly, onto my most recent and now all time favourite Vera Wang Be Jeweled which I swear when I received this at Christmas, my nan must have read my mind. I had tested in store prior to Christmas and fell in love, was going to treat myself but I resisted and when I opened it Christmas day - oh the excitement! I can't explain the smell, a little similar to the Daisy but nicer and more fruity scented. It is a must for your collection if you haven't already!

Prices: J-Lo Live, £25.05 (50ml) .. Vera Wang Lovestruck, £40.80 (50ml) .. Vera Wang Princess, £44.50 (50ml) .. Versace Red Jeans, £14.99 (75ml) .. Marc Jabobs Daisy, Similar, £48 (50ml) .. Vera Wang Be Jeweled, £48 (50ml)

All very girly, fruity and summery perfumes - one's I absolutely adore :) If you hadn't realised that until now! Let me know what your favourite is and I will be sure to test it out :)

Love, Gemma xo
