Braun ThermoScan 3 Review xo

I have been lucky enough to recieve a Braun ThermoScan 3 - IRT3020 a compact ear thermometer with fast, gentle and accurate 1 second reading. Does this seem possible?

Yesss it is :)

My son isn't a big fan of having his temperature taken as he will kick, punch and scream; so I was unable to get a picture of it in action, but for once I was able to get a reading because it is that quick!

As you can see it comes with spare thermometer cases as you should really have a new clean one each time.

This is an absolutely faboulous product, and I am very pleased I was given the chance to review this :)

Suitable for the whole family including newborns, the thermometer measures and displays a temperature reading in just one second providing reliable, accurate results, while minimising discomfort for little ones. Soft and gentle in the ear, the thermometer sounds a beep to signal the end of the reading and includes a memory function that recalls the last temperature. An LCD display shows readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit with disposable lens filters required for each use to avoid cross contamination.

One down side, is the battery, not the ordinary AAA or AA but a 3 Volt Lithium (whatever that means!) - do we really have these laying around? Are they expensive to replace? I am unsure just hopefully it lasts long enough!
