This is very exciting for me as this is my very first beauty post :)
I decided to start off by showing you what make-up I wear every day, and have been for about 6/7 years. I found something that suits my skin (sort of) and stuck with it.
I'd love to experiment one day, but I am unfourtently one of those who is cursed with bad acne. I am currently on specific medicine from a Dermatologist to have it sorted. So once I am all cleared, then I will be having lots more better make-up. MAC Cosmetics is on my wish list. I dream of going to their counter and having a make-over.
So anyways, here it is..
L'Oreal Paris True Match Powder - C1 Rose Ivory - £8.19
L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation - C1 Rose Ivory - £9.99
L'Oreal Paris True Match Blush - 115 True Rose - £7.69
L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes mascara - Extra Black - £10.99
L'Oreal Lash Architect Mascara 4D - Black - £10.99
L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Quad - Marron Glace - £7.99
Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick - English Rose - £7.99
Boots Soltan Moisturising Suncare Stick SPF30 5g - £3.99
Aveeno Moisturising Cream 300ml - £13.39
Total - £81.21
As you can probably tell, I just go for the natural look, because I am not very darring. Plus if I wear red lipstick, it just makes me look like a hooker or a tranny!
You may be wondering why I use Soltan Moisturising Suncare Stick, but it says it in the name, its moisturising! The best I have found, I always stock up over Summer as they don't sell it in Winter for obvious reasons. My lips used to be so dry and cracked, but this lipcare leaves them soft, moist and shiny in prestine condition. It is a must, I highly recommend to anyone :)
With the Foundation & Powder, I manage to get an excellent coverage for my acne and lasts all day thanks to my base cream:
This cream has kept my skin moist whilst actually acting as a mattee coverage for my make-up to ensure I do not look oily/sweaty after a full day of work. I used to use Clinque 3 step solutions, but after a few hours, my make-up would just be coming off with sweat, yukky! Managed to save a lot of money whilst actually working out better for me :)
He may be a cutie, but a very annoying one at that!
As you can tell, the 'professional' pictures are not good at all. I used my prize possession:
But I just couldn't get the background or lighting right, nevermind.
That's it for today, so hope you enjoyed! Watch out for more exciting posts this week too.
Love, Yummy Mummy xo
